Horry County serves over 37,000 students and is the third largest school district in South Carolina! The Horry County School District has 48 educational facilities including: 26 elementary schools, 11 middle schools, 9 high schools, 2 career centers, a scholar’s academy, an early college high school, and an alternative school.
Horry County also offers a variety of entertainment/sports based academies including: golf, diving, baseball, dance, gymnastics, and more!

Registration Information

To register students in our educational system, you must provide the following:

Legal birth certificate
Certificate of immunization on a S.C. Certificate of Immunization form
Documentation of Horry County residency
Social Security number
Complete immunization record(s)
