Murrells Inlet
Once the lair of the infamous pirate Blackbeard, Murrells Inlet is now best known as “the Seafood Capital of South Carolina,” earning its title from the fresh fish, clams, oysters, and crabs pulled from the surrounding waters and prepared in local restaurants nestled along the creek.
A 1,400-foot boardwalk aptly called The Marshwalk winds through the wetlands, offering stunning vistas and glimpses of wildlife and waterfowl. Murrells Inlet is truly a treasure by the sea, offering a variety of shopping, dining, and an overall wonderful location for your next property!
Murrells Inlet has a population of approximately 6000 residents and is located in Georgetown County. Murrells Inlet is best accessed via US Bypass 17 or US Hwy 17 Business.
Legendary tales such as Alice Flagg and the Hermitage, as well as ghost stories including the Grey Man are deeply rooted in Murrells Inlet’s marsh creeks and river landings.
