Most of the downtown Conway area was built in the early 1900′s, in fact, Conway is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina. Originally named Kingston, the town was created in 1734. Today Conway has approximately 12,000 residents.

Due to Conway’s diligence in preservation of historic sites and landscaping, Conway is recognized for its extensive planting and protection of trees and historic landmarks.
Conway’s river front has an 850-foot boardwalk that provides a continuous uninterrupted view of the Waccamaw River. Conway has a riverboat that departs regularly from the Conway Marina that offers scenic educational tours of the area.

Conway is primarily served by SC Hwy 544 and US Hwy 501 and is home to the Carolina Southern Railroad train depot.

Conway is best known for “Main Street” which begins at 2nd Ave just beyond the Main Street Bridge.

Conway’s yester-year atmosphere coupled with beautiful homes, outstanding educational facilities and welcoming local entertainment makes Conway the perfect place for investing!
