Formerly known as New Town, families began making their way towards South Carolina’s beautiful beaches over one hundred years ago! Crossing the Waccamaw River landed our earliest settlers right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. It’s no surprise that these settlers decided stay, and in the early 1900’s oceanfront development was well underway.
